Also within a short walking distance is historic Wahconah Park, constructed in 1919, current home of the Pittsfield Colonials, and has seats for 4,500 spectators. Berkshire Hills Country Club is about a mile northeast and its eighteen holes and incredible views have been enjoyed by members since 1925.

The immediate area on Tyler Street is bustling with a mix of shops, bakeries, restaurants, and schools. Just steps away is Morningside Bakery, always drawing customers into the area with their specialty cakes, pastries, and coffee.
