Class times 12:00-1:30 pm Saturdays

• 6/20/15 - Radial Printmaking
Create a one of a kind print using styrofoam inspired by the art of the Islamic culture.
• 6/27/15 - Art for a Cause
Design a poster that focuses on raising awareness for a good cause. *Join us for our Community Block Clean Up!*

• 7/11/15 - Create a Carnival Mask
Create a ceremonial mask inspired by the Carnaval de Ponce of Puerto Rico
• 7/18/15 - Junkitechture
Become an architect by building your own skyscrapers out of drinking straws and other fun objects.
• 7/25/15 - Holy Huichol, It's Yarn Painting!
Use yarn to "paint" a work of art using traditional folk art techniques that were developed by the Huichol people of Mexico.
• 8/1/15 - Recycle, Upcycle
Transform household recyclables into a piece of art!
• 8/8/15 - Ghanaian Kente Cloth
Weave hand crafted patterned paper into a design that focuses on geometric shapes and bold lines.
• 8/15/15 - Nōtan, No Problem
Use Scissors and Black and White paper to create eye catching Japanese style compositions known as Notan.
• 8/22/15 - Zentangle & Suminagashi
Create interesting designs using the ancient Japanese method known as Suminagashi "paper marbling" combined with zentangle.
• 8/29/15 - Batik Boutique
Use traditional Indonesian techniques to create your own T-shirt design.
