JOURNEY is a solo exhibition by Librado Romero, surveying over 20 years of studio work in the YOHO arts district area of Yonkers. Exhibited will be many large paintings, some works on paper, sculptures, and a large long-running installation work comprised of found objects of a personal nature assembled in vignettes withing a large stack of wine boxes.Journey will be on view at the YPL 4th Floor gallery from September 6th running through October 15th.
JOURNEY opening will be Saturday, September 6th from 5-7pm.
Librado Romero will have an artist talk at the exhibition on October 9th at 5:30 pm.
There will be an announcement on a specific screening of a film at the gallery of the exhibiting artist's choosing, during the course of the exhibition.
There will also be special educational programming in the gallery during the course of this exhibition. Details to follow as they develop.
