YOHO Artists are pleased to announce the 14th Annual Open Studio tour of over 50 artist studios, May 6 and 7 from 12-5 PM!This past January, a devastating fire erupted in the building adjacent to YOHO Artist Studios, destroying a dozen small businesses, two artist's studios and brought the artists at YOHO to an abrupt standstill.
Since then, the fifty-plus artists have galvanized their efforts to help ensure the safe and speedy resurrection of their community of painters, sculptors, photographers and craftspeople. Please join them in celebrating their successful restoration of studios and to support them and their work!
“The YOHO Artists’ Studios have become the center of our city's emerging arts community," said Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano. "Despite the devastating fire that almost threatened the galleries and studios, it did not quell the vibrant spirit of our artists and businesses. We look forward to the upcoming Yonkers Arts Weekend that will open the doors to our studios and rekindle the Yonkers artistic spirit."
What to Expect
This FREE event is an unique opportunity to tour the YOHO Artist Studios and see firsthand where and how their artwork is created. Visit with the artists in their studios and come walk the halls of the historic Alexander Smith Carpet Mills factory building and newly designated Carpet Mills Arts District! At designated times, you will be able to enjoy live music, art demonstrations, kids projects, refreshments and vendors!

Getting There
Parking will be available and free shuttle buses provided by the city of Yonkers will run from Metro North train station and provide transportation to the Yonkers Carpet Mills Arts District, 540 and 578 Nepperhan Avenue on Saturday May 6 and Sunday May 7, from 12 - 5pm.
