Please join the City of Yonkers, Mayor Mike Spano and Groundwork Hudson Valley for the 2nd Annual Yonkers Arts Weekend, an urban art festival showcasing hundreds of local, regional and international artists, painters, photographers, sculptors, and musicians.
On Friday, May 1st the City will officially start the weekend with grit-pop recording artists BLACK TAXI and acclaimed graffiti artist John "Crash" Matos andWallworks Gallery (28 Wells Ave. @iPark).
Saturday morning with feature the City's first Color Run (Van der Donck Park), followed by YOHO Artists Open Studios (578 & 540 Nepperhan Ave.), Hudson River Museum events, world-famous Naomi Shelton and the Gospel Queens, electric dance under the historic Pier, live street art, pop-up galleries and free art workshops!!
Close out Saturday night with Yofi Fest's "Raise a glass to Yonkers Arts Weekend" After Party sponsored by 66Main at Yonkers Brewing Company on from 9PM to midnight.
There will be art venues throughout the Downtown Waterfront District and Van der Donck Park, as well as at Untermyer Gardens Conservancy, Yofi Fest at the Trolley Barn, the historic Alexander Smith Carpet Mills, the Hudson River Museum and Sarah Lawrence College.
