Amy Pryor is a Bronx-based artist who creates installations, collages, and paintings. She often incorporates data, maps, and imagery from aerial photographs into visual-verbal works that explore the intersections of commerce and culture, and that are suggestive of constructed landscapes. Pryor's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions including the Bronx Museum of Art, the Islip Museum, Bronx River Arts Center, the 92Y TriBeCa and Frans Masereel Centrum, Belgium. She holds a BFA in Art History and Sculpture from Ohio University, and an MFA in Painting/Printmaking from Yale. Pryor is a 2013 recipient of the Bronx Council of the Arts' BRIO grant.
